Naked Newbie Gnome Run
Gattwin coordinated a Naked Newbie Gnome Run. Titans guild members created a level 1 gnomes of any class in Ak'Anon with the name Ostro in front of their main character's name. When Gattwin shouted "Go!" then race was off. Naked newbie gnomes ran from Ak'Anon through Steamfont Mountains, Lesser Faydark, Greater Faydark, Butcherblock Mountains to the boat dock. Most gnomes made it to the dock, waited for the boat and boarded the boat to Freeport. Once reaching Freeport, the gnomes turned in their Books of Discord and Order to the Priest of Discord, at which time they became Player vs. Player and could no longer get a bind or any buffs. The race continued through East Commonlands, West Commonlands, Kithicor Forest at nighttime (many gnome deaths), Highpass Hold (more gnome deaths), Eastern Plains of Karana, Northern Plains of Karana, Western Plains of Karana, and Qeynos Hills to the Qeynos docks. OstroInari was the first to make it to the docks, but as she waited for the boat OstroRimzig arrived. Both OstroInari and OstroRimzig were afraid the other would attack, but they agreed to peace. When they arrived in Erudin, OstroRimzig had never been to that city and didn't understand the map he had printed, so he tried to follow OstroInari but he lost her in the confusing teleporters. OstoInari won the race by being the first gnome to arrive in the Toxxulia Forest. OstroRimzig was a close second. The other gnomes were far behind.
