The Call of Flame is a level 49 Ranger quest spell, but you can't get the NPC that starts the quest to respond until you're level 50. The Call of Flame spell is 206DD with a fast 2 second cast time which will double my current direct damage spell of Careless Lightning at 99DD.

The Call of Flame quest spell involves 4 rare drop items and another rare mob:

I met Shartan Darkwood, a 51 Ranger from Emerald Phoenix guild, in Mistmoore and we have been camping the Butler and Maid together.

Butler Syncall in Mistmoore Castle is a 25 minute spawn with a 50% chance of a placeholder. Butler Fang is a rare drop (10% chance drop) and Cape of Midnight Mist (AC2 STR5 svMagic7 neck BRD CLR DRU ENC MAG NEC SHM WIZ) is the common drop (I have lots of them now if you need one). I have looted the Butler Fang.

Maid Issis in Mistmoore Castle is a 25 minute spawn with 50% chance of a placeholder. Maid Fang is a rare drop (8% chance drop) and Nightshade Wreath (AC1 WIS5 INT5 head BRD CLR DRU ENC MAG NEC SHM WIZ) is the common drop (I have lots of them now if you need one). I have not yet gotten the Maid Fang.

An avenging caitiff is a 25 minute spawn with chance of a placeholder. I need both fangs and then turn them in for the Electrum Bladed Wakazashi.

An imp protector in Solusek B was spared my sword because Barelan was so gracious to loot a Burnt Sash for me. Since the Burnt Sash is No Drop, we plan to multi-quest it.

Reanimated hand in Lower Guk was spared my sword because Shartan was fortunate to purchase two Adamantite Bands (one for himself and one for me) in the EC tunnel.

When all the pieces are gathered and handed in, I will need the assistance of a group to take down a spawned level 53 monk/bandit-looking mob named Vance Bearstalker in East Karana. I still need the Maid Fang for the quest before we can take on Vance.
